Parker

Jason Statham playing a tough guy. Huh, who'd a thunk it? The movie opens at the Ohio State Fair. You can tell because there is a scene of the fair with a great big sign saying Ohio State Fair. I thought that was cool, put up a big sign and that way anyone who sees a picture of the place will know where they are.

Then a little bit later we're in West Palm Beach, Florida, and they also have a great big sign. Now wait a minute, that's not a real sign, someone just photo shopped that in, and those letters look just like the letters in the Ohio State Fair sign. Does that mean the Ohio sign isn't real either? I'm afraid so, Bucky.

We only got half way through the movie tonight. Might finish it tomorrow.

P.S. The signs stand out in the movie much more than they do in these screen shots. I think maybe because the viewpoint is changing and so the letters appear to be fixed in space. Notice how "State" in the Fair sign goes through the hole in the roller coaster thingy, and the end of "Fair" goes behind the yellow tower. I suspect they are using the same technology that is used to paint the first down line on televised football fields.
