G. Gordon Liddy RIP

Former White House aide G. Gordon Liddy as he leaves U. S. District Court in 1972

I've been hearing about this guy my entire adult life and now he's gone. He seems to have been more like a real person than most of the people you hear about in the news. You only hear about most other people in the context of their position or their pronouncements. This guy seemed to have a real life. On the other hand, his life sounds like something out of a James Bond novel. A real character. Wikipedia, natch, has an article

He obviously enjoyed breaking the law and talking about himself. The media obliged his antics and enjoyed the income stream he provided by publishing stories about these same antics. Helpful to society and the country? I think not.
