What the heck is a 'John Varvatos'? Seems he is an American contemporary menswear designer. So a 'John Varvatos' is some kind of expensive jacket or something. Reading a little farther I find that in 1980, he co-founded a menswear store, Fitzgerald's, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Huh, the old family stomping grounds. I was born in Grand Rapids. I only lived there for a few years before my parents drug me off to the West Coast, so I don't know much about it.
