The DR400 (Robin) is easy to spin and easy to recover (within a thousand feet). Both directions similar. As a contrast, try spinning the Piper Tomahawk, which is very assymetrical. One way around it is very difficult to put into a spin and easy to recover. But the other way around absolutely viscious and takes a while to recover.
Spin-recovery is no longer a required lesson in flight training, which I find a bad decision, so I offer it anyway.
