41 years ago I got my Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science back in 1980 and look what happened. Yes, I know it's not all my doing, but me and a zillion other guys with busy minds and busy fingers got busy and here we are, good, bad, or indifferent.

In '76 I worked at the largest WWMCCS installation located at CINCLANT in Norfolk. We were running a subsystem called PWIN, Prototype WWMCCS Intercomputer Network, encrypting and sending communications and data over telecom between ourselves and other sites. It went fully operational (no longer a prototype) sometime in'79. Any user at any site could access data and processing capacity at any of the other sites. Pretty nifty for the time.
