Russian Gold Coin |
It's kind of cool looking, but it's a little hard to see with the reflection, so I asked Google. Google couldn't identify it. It came up with a bunch of pictures of other Russian gold coins, but not this one.
I'm guessing it's a 50,000 Ruble coin from 2016 which would make it worth about $600, which means it might weigh somewhere between a quarter and a third of an ounce.
Is that 5 grams over on the right side?
ReplyDeleteIt seems to say "5 KT".
ReplyDeleteCorrection: 5 K - upside down"L"
ReplyDeleteAh thanks, no idea what the upside down L is, neither does Google translate. If it was kr in Russian that translates to kg in English but I'm pretty sure that coin isn't 5 kilograms.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that would be 11 lbs, only Mr T would want that.
Au 999 - 99.9% gold
ReplyDelete5 kr - 5 kg
50,000 roubles
2016
Based on value and mass (5 kg) likely a fake image.
