Pembleton Motorcar

The Pembleton T24 Exclusive Review - The LIGHTEST New car you've never heard of
The Late Brake Show

This is just the coolest thing, though how he gets it licensed without any modern safety features escapes me. Maybe the low weight gives him some leeway. It's a rich man's play pretty, though you don't have to be a zillionaire, they cost about $42K.

  1. I don't know about England but here there are a lot of exemptions for low production cars. It has seat belts, but in a rollover that windshield would collapse.
I did notice in the whole half hour video that showed him driving a lot not once did we see him getting in or out of the car. I think we all know why. LoL

  2. Stu - The original was a three wheeler, built to get a free passage on ferries. Probably inspired by the Morgan, but this one is front wheel drive using a 2CV transaxle.
Bruce - gokarts don't have roll bars either. The high sides just keep short people from stealing your car.

  3. You might be right, I don't know if that would deter short people but I can see every time I'd get in or out, Nelson pointing with a Ha-ha.
