Fetterman, the Democratic Senator from Pennsylvania, has been getting some bad press over the last few years. First he had a stroke and then when they turned the spotlight on him people started mocking his clothes. He has mostly recovered from the stroke. He does still have problems understanding speech:

Fetterman's stroke left him with symptoms of an auditory processing disorder, and he uses closed captioning as an aid to read speech in real time.

As for the clothes, they don't seem suitable for his role as a Senator, but never mind what society and custom dictate, what is the law? I don't think there is one, other than covering your genitals. I've always been suspicious of guys wearing suits, probably because I watch too many gangster shows. 

Anyway, that's what I know about him. He's a Democrat, he had a stroke that he has mostly recovered from and he dresses like a slob. The only thing I object to is the sweatpants. I dunno about them.

Today though we have a story in The Daily Wire:

I pretty much agree with everything he says. I like this paragraph:

After Reps. Rashida Tlaib (MI) and Ilhan Omar (MN) promoted accusations from the Hamas-run Palestinian Health Ministry that falsely claimed that Israel killed 500+ people after bombing a hospital inside Gaza, Fetterman wrote, “It’s truly disturbing that Members of Congress rushed to blame Israel for the hospital tragedy in Gaza. Who would take the word of a group that just massacred innocent Israeli civilians over our key ally? I will always stand with Israel and look forward to supporting any military, intelligence, or humanitarian aid to get the job done.”

And then I spotted the phrase "falsely claimed", which reminded me of the phrase "falsely accused".  The phrase "falsely accused" has been bugging me for a while now. I usually see it in stories from the Democrat-mafia propaganda machine. You can accuse someone of something, but I don't think you can apply true or false to an accusation. You can affirm it or refute it, but an accusation in itself is neither true or false. It's a talking point.

Now I'm looking at "falsely claimed" in the quoted paragraph and my initial reaction is that in this case it's okay to use falsely because the claim has been proven to be false. But maybe I'm just down on Hamas and anyone that even smells like they might be supporting them.
