I dunno about this show. First of all, both of our leading characters are combative with just about everyone including each other. Secondly, there is some kind of woo-woo business going on. Either people are going mad, they are hallucinating or there really are monsters that appear out of nowhere. If it was just one person, I could write it off as madness, but there's a bunch of people, so I'm thinking LSD.
Jody Foster plays the Sheriff Liz Danvers who has been promoted to this backwater because she doesn't play well with others. Navarro, the woman eskimo state trooper played by Kali Reis, had a falling out with the Sheriff six years ago over a murder-suicide.
It's kind of interesting because of the location (some mining facility on the coast of the Arctic ocean) and the time of year - the sun has just gone down for the winter and they are looking at six weeks of darkness. The town is fictional and looks to be bigger than any real-life mining towns in Arctic Alaska. The show was shot in Iceland.
