Dark Winds Season 3 | Official Trailer ft. Zahn McClarnon | Premieres March 9 | AMC+

Show is set on the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. The scenery is great, and we've got people riding horses, that's pretty great too. The actors play their roles well, but the plot is like something from The Lone Ranger on Saturday morning. It gives just enough context to understand the characters, but weak to the point of collapse.
Episode 1 starts up, the credits are rolling by, and what's this? Robert Redford is the executive producer. Huh. Didn't he die recently? Yes, he did. September 26th of this year to be exact. The show starts and before too long we have a shot of two inmates playing chess through the bars of the local jail. Hey! What a minute! Isn't that Robert Redford playing chess? How about that. According to Wikipedia, the other inmate was the other executive producer, George R. R. Martin, the Game of Thrones writer.
In episode six, the top cop has a long dream sequence, presumably due to be being shot with a poison dart. Turns out the dart contained ketamine. Would have been more believable if they had told us it was old Indian concoction that contained psilocybin. Whatever, the dream sequence was well done.
Cast. There are some famous names here. Asterisk in first column means I remembered the character.
