This movie is a little odd in that it is a Japanese film about China. It's war story set sometime BC. Lots of fantasy sword fighting and lots of very harsh Japanese yelling. Not much of a story, and not very interesting characters. It's based on a manga, so what we have is a live action cartoon. I think the target audience is teenagers. The star is hot headed young idiot. Not my cup of tea.  Wikipedia.

Curious tidbits: The mountain tribe wears masks reminiscent of natives from New Guinea. The bad guys have a giant on their side.

I'm not sure, but it kind of looks like this guy is trying to reproduce the Antikythera Mechanism using just hand tools. Going by the amount of work he's doing to accomplish this one little step, it's probably going to take him a couple of years to complete it.
