I remember reading about the big draglines used for strip mining coal back in the Midwest and they always called them 'walking draglines', but you never saw them walking anywhere. Mostly they just sat in once place and shoveled dirt, and they had plenty of movies of that, but they could never show videos of these dang things walking, and it kind of pissed me off. Mostly because that's all they said, like anyone who was anybody would know what a 'walking dragline' was. You could tell how it likely worked, but without seeing it in action, you didn't really know. And the fools in the publicity department couldn't be bothered with going out in the rain and recording the machine walking. Useless twerps.
