I start watching this video and I'm listening to this guy and he sounds so earnest, talking about marbles, for Pete's sake, and I'm wondering is he having us on? I mean, it sounds exactly like you might expect a parody to sound. Probably due to watching too much Monty Python in my youth.

Anyway, evidently he's not kidding. Marbles is a real thing. Here's a video about the 2025 World Marbles Championship:
