Glad to see that someone gets to return to civilization, but that's not why we're here. I
read about this on Military Photos dot net, and someone implied that Arabs were the ones paying ransoms for some hostages that have been kidnapped by Islamic terrorist groups. Some Arabs are supplying terrorists with money and weapons. Are these two groups of Arabs the same or different? It sounds like they should be two different groups operating at cross purposes like that, but now that I think about it, it does make a kind of sense that they would be the same, especially if you don't care about the hostages.
By paying ransoms, the Arabs get to look like good guys. They got your friends released from those nasty terrorists. Oh, thank you Mr. Qatar and Mr. Saudi Arabia! But look what has actually happened: they have supplied the terrorists with money, which is essential if you want to do any serious terrorizing. In other words, kidnapping is just a stunt to arrange for a transfer of funds that will make the terrorist bankrollers look good.
