I'm happily reading a story in the Oregonian this morning when I stumble over Zoetrope. From context I deduce that it means something like Kaleidoscope, but for the life of me I can't remember just what Zoetrope means. What's worse is it isn't in my dictionary either. Finally I look it up on my computer and Wikipedia tells me what it is. Nothing worse than having your Sunday ruined by having to learn something new, er, obsolete. Zoetrope indeed. Methinks Monsieur Woodward is just showing off. Typical wordsmith.
