That Dirty Black Bag Season - Netflix Series

That Dirty Black Bag Season 1 Trailer | Rotten Tomatoes TV

I don't know about this show. We watched the first two episodes the other night. We've got a cast full of crazies and not a single likable character. I don't think we'll watch any more.

We have Red Bill, a bounty hunter, who cuts the heads off of the outlaws that he kills as they are lighter to carry than the whole body. The heads go in the dirty black bag.

We have Steve, a farmer, who is bound and determined to make his farm a success even though there hasn't been any rain for FIVE YEARS. Meanwhile he has a cave with big gold deposits that he isn't doing anything with besides visit when he can sneak away.

We have Mr. Thompson, a successful black man, who is convinced that there is a vein of gold buried deep underground on his land.

We have McCoy, the Greenvale Sheriff, who manages to keep the peace, but isn't averse to killing people if it suits him.

Red Bill comes into town to collect a bounty, the sheriff relieves him of his gun and some of his cash and kicks him out of town. Red Bill leaves, but he takes the sheriff's horse with him. He stops at a homestead to ask about the Williams brothers and Butler, the resident, invites him in for drink. The drink is drugged, Red Bill falls unconscious and Butler ties him up.

The sheriff and his sidekick are out looking for Red Bill and they come across a wagon that has been attacked. There are a couple of dead bodies on the ground. They hear some noise coming from the wagon and open fire killing the man who was inside. They find a chest full of money in the wagon and what do they do with it? They drag it out and into a cave and shove it in a hole. Seems like a bad idea to me. A better idea would be to leave the chest in the wagon and drive it back to town and store it in the bank, if there is one, or in the jail.

There is a brothel in town with half a dozen girls working there, but there's no gold and there's no water, so who are their customers? I would have expected the girls to have packed up and moved on when the gold ran out. Shoot, why is anyone still here?

Yeah, none of this makes any sense.
