McLaren’s amazing Can-Am cars reunite at Laguna

Back around 1970, me and my car-addled friends went to Mid-Ohio to watch the Can-Am races a couple of times. I was in love with Can-Am cars. Simple cars with big American V-8 engines, not those over engineered and over-priced sewing machines from Europe.

I agree, the Can-Am races were the best. Seeing for the first time Jim Hall zipping around Watkins Glen in the Chaparral was awesome.
