Hijack with Idris Elba. Who hijacks an airliner these days? I imagine they would have eventually explained the hijackers scheme, but the first episode was just full of people being stupid and rude and who needs that?
The Last Empress We have the emperor of Korea, totally made up, and totally full of the absolute worst kinds of annoying people.
Light to the Night We've got a couple of Chinese, detectives, one older, one younger, and they can't agree on anything. It might get better, but the first episode was just, I dunno, jagged? Amazingly incompetent policemen. Not very smooth in any case.
I'm posting this because we seldom have this much trouble finding something to watch. Three duds in a row is a trifle annoying.

Haha -- I watched the Last Empress. It bolted an old-timey palace intrigue story, hence all the dodgy characters scheming like mad, onto a modern romcom. It certainly was an odd combination.
