Fancy, new drive-up ATM at the bank today. The plastic, circular green thingy lights up when you put your card in the slot. But what's this?
There's a headphone jack just below and to the right of the card slot.
I'll have to bring my headphones next time so I can hear what they are playing.
Or not.

It's supposed to be an aid to blind/vision impaired users. Jacking in your (own) headphones lets you hear the instruction otherwise merely displayed to you.
Only half thought through, as some of the buttons are still colour-coded I see and are not Braille-embossed :-(
The green light next to the slot is a pseudo solution to the skimming problem. But if criminals can glue on a fake slot to read the mag. stripe, then they can certainly add a light to their skimmer too.
BTW: how are the blind people supposed to see the green light?
Question: If all your notes are the same size (Euros are size coded), how do the blind distinguish between them?
in the burger shop? Because he can't tell if he's bitten through to the packaging :-(
Related joke : Why to you never see a blind person
Goddamn editor, ruined my joke, which should read :-

P.S. A better design (Wincor-Nixdorf) would cover the keyboard so that a shoulder surfer could not see what you were typing in.
