Twin girls take diverging paths after high school and now they are young adults with a whole raft of problems: financial, emotional and romantic. Mi-Ji is a lively character. I think everyone else is just there for her to bounce off of.
This show is great. We recently saw another show about young adults in Tasmania and it was just awful. What's the difference? Well, for one, the white kids in Tasmania were chatterboxes, spouting all kinds of nonsense. Characters in this show are so wrapped up in their problems that they hardly speak to anybody, which makes it a little difficult to figure out just what's going on. Of course, that's why we like these shows - it's a puzzle, and it gives us something to chew on.
