Pretty sure they jumped from another airplane higher up, then they had to fall far enough to get enough speed so they could catch up to the cargo plane. Then you have to figure out how much speed you need to bleed off. Your relative speed wouldn't need to be too great, maybe 10 or 20 MPH. Even that fast would hurt if you ran into something like a bulkhead, or a commanding officer.

Great Bond movie. All kinds of crazy technology, some improbable, but most of it has some basis in reality. I do wonder about the golden gem mounted in a frame that is apparently needed to send the fire command to the Goldeneye satellite. Now with all the complicated stuff I've learned about since then, I wonder if you could somehow encode a passcode in the gem, a passcode that can be extracted using a relatively simple scanner. Convoluted and cumbersome, but then people are always dreaming up complicated and cumbersome procedures. Still, haven't heard of anyone encoding anything in oversize gemstones, but you know what they say about the Internet - if you can imagine it someone has already done it.
Somewhere in the middle of the movie, Bond and Natalya, the Bond girl, are arrested by the Soviet military and taken to a prison in Moscow. The big, bad villain shows up during their interrogation and shoots the interrogators. Bond uses the ensuing chaos to escape. He picks up an AK-47 from a dead guard and then he and the girl are running for their lives, down the halls, around corners and through doors. Simultaneously he is engaged in a running firefight with Soviet soldiers. He is mowing them down like ten pins. And then he steals a tank.
But let's stop for a minute before we run off into the wonderful tank fantasy, let's stop and count the number of rounds he fired while running through the halls of the prison. Pretty creepy murder mystery. This puzzle was pretty tough. There is so much detail and the pieces are so small, I was only able to group about 20% of the pieces going by colors and patterns. For the rest of the puzzle, I resorted to sorting the pieces by shape and then checking each piece that had the correct number of bumps and indents. Cool picture though. Swedish murder mystery but it's more of a family drama. Daughter Stella gets arrested for killing her boyfriend, a rich guy ten years older than her. No gun play, no car chases, at least not yet, but for some reason it completely sucked us in.
Part of it, I think, is that we like puzzles, and this show is very puzzling. There are little clues all over the place, but you never know if they are real clues or just red herrings designed to lead us down the garden path.
Now it could be that we just have a couple of teenagers being stupid, but there is an undercurrent of something not-quite-right with some of the players. We're halfway through the six episodes so we should have our answers shortly.
