1960s Norelco santa ad
"Floating heads, floating heads, . . .' I'm telling my son about the song in this old Norelco TV commercial. He doesn't believe me, so I go looking for it, and . . . bupkiss. Seems I am not the only one to remember it, but so far, no cigar. The ads I've seen look similar, Santa gliding over the snow on a sleigh made from the business end of a Norelco razor, and the tune sounds the same, but none of them use "floating heads" in the lyrics.
I tried to find someone at Norelco I could ask about this, but Norelco belongs to Philips these days and Philips, well, there is something wrong with Philips.

I was a little girl but I clearly remember the "floating heads" song in the commercial. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a copy of it anywhere on the internet.
One more reason to hate Philips.
"Floating Heads, Floating Heads; Norelco la-la-lay;
Norelco la-da-dee-da-da;Da-dum-dee- Christmas Day!"

I remember this commercial as well from the 1950's and the song was sung to the tune of Jingle Bells and began, "floating heads, floating heads". I am trying to post this to my high school class face book group. I found a post that said this was a myth but I definitely remember this
Floating heads, floating heads. Floating all the way. Norelco is the shaving gift to give on Christmas Day!
That’s it!
