Yankee U-Haul

There is a post on ZeroHedge about migration within the USA as revealed by U-Haul truck rental statistics. It reminded me of this old joke that was popular when I lived in Texas, which was for about eight years around 1980.

What are the three things that a Texan is most afeerd of?

Number one was a Mexican with a knife, number two was a black man (although we didn't call him a black man back then) with a gun, and number three was a Yankee with a U-Haul.
