Who displays the American Flag? |
If I see someone displaying an American flag I will assume they are voting for Trump. Does everyone have the same reaction? Something is wrong with this country when displaying the flag is a partisan act.

Also wrong to use the flag to make a partisan political statement. That makes people feel either obligated or fearful of flying the flag because of possible misinterpretation of their intent.

The point is, no lefties fly the flag. I am not aware of any. So, if a flag is flying, bet they support Trump.
OK but why don't lefties fly the flag, they used to.
A couple years back a retired Marine moved into a predominately democratic NJ town and put a flagpole in his front yard with the starsandstrips plus the marine corps flag every day.
The township said he he wasn't allowed to have a flagpole, take it down.
He refused and his leftie neighbors took up the fight along with him and beat the township so he could keep on doing his thing.
That won't happen today because the right has claimed the flag and the Gadsden flag, as there own symbols. That is why you assume anyone flying the flag is a trumper, whether it's true or not.

The Flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display... Just dropped my flag off at the VFW to be destroyed on flag day. I will not display it anymore.
The VFW or Scouts is the best way to dispose one.
You can burn it yourself with a good hot fire and burn the flag folded.
I'm surprised burying is acceptable if folded properly in a "respectable box".
I used to have one out front but it was stolen so the only one I have left is from my Dads coffin at his funeral. It's very high quality and I won't fly that one outside.
