Big Boats

Comrade Misfit put up a post yesterday about the Majestic Mærsk, a really big container ship (2nd from the top). I found this image on Wikipedia which shows just how big it is. The Knock Nevis is no more having been sent to ship heaven in India. Likewise the Enterprise has been retired. I knew Cruise liners were getting bigger, but I had no idea that they were dwarfing aircraft carriers.

Top ship is Allure of the Seas, same ship as in the previous image. Middle ship is the Costa Concordia, which capsized on the Italian coast last year. The bottom ship is the Titanic.

Previous post about Maersk.
