More Gold, More Electronic Trash

Tony Beets Buys a Brand New $1.3 Million Bulldozer | Gold Rush: Winter’s Fortune

Tony hopes to recover 9,000 ounces of gold from the ground he is tearing up. At today's price, 9,000 ounces would be worth $17 million. That would pay for his new toy and then some. Progress marches on whether you are paying attention or not. At 124 tons, the D11 weighs about twice as much as an Abrams Tank.
