Less and less stuff makes sense. I keep coming up with ideas on things could be organized better, but then I realize I'm never going to be able to sell the world on these ideas, everyone is too wrapped up with their fellows, cheering themselves hoarse in their own bubble / echo chamber. For example, Biden got elected because Zuckerberg took exception to Trump and financed a grass roots campaign to defeat him. Trump may be an asshole, but at least he wasn't destroying the economy.
Here's a couple of links that kind of explain where we are and where we're going.

Neal Stephenson's book The Diamond Age is starting to look like a remarkably accurate prophecy.

Trump didn’t screw up the economy he just killed an extra half million people. But they were old so dumping them helps the Social Security and Medicare bottom line. Joe didn’t screw up the economy, he couldn’t if he wanted to.
The finest government money can buy down in DC, doesn’t have the power. Our economy is controlled by the Federal Reserve, Big Biz, Private Equity Funds, and other countries, along with a healthy dash of nobody-saw-that-coming.
