There were several aircraft in WW2 named Georgia Peach that were decorated with nose art. Besides this P-47, there were several bombers of various types with that name.

USAF Nose Art Research Project tells us that this is a P-47D-21-RE and the painting was done by S/Sgt Lynn E. Trank.

This airplane also caught the eye of an aircraft modeler. His model looks amazing. It's 1/48th scale, so it's only nine inches long.
