First flight of the Sukhoi Su-27 was in 1977 but it had some teething problems so it didn't go into service until 1985. Since then they have built over 2,000 of them in several variants. Some have been sold to other countries like China, India and Malaysia.

It's a big airplane, 70 feet long and a 33 ton maximum takeoff weight. They might still be building them.
