| Rat Bike |
Saw this spectacular example of a rat bike in downtown Portland yesterday. It looks like it might have started life as a Cushman scooter. The octagon box where the seat ought to be is a movie film reel canister. Not only has the body work been stripped off, but the shroud that surrounds the motor to direct air over the cooling fins has been removed as well. In spite of looking like something from the dawn of time, it is not that old - it has a disk brake on the front wheel. The bumper and the grill look to be a recent addition.

That's a Honda Ruckus with some sort of front end swap for the disc brake.
