When my Seabee Battalion was in Rota, Spain (NAVSTA Rota) and the same in PWD Rota we'd write MT on the O2 tanks when they had about 1,000 pounds left because they used the same bottles for breathing oxygen in planes. If they were empty (-1,000#) , they'd have to send them out to be retested to be sure there was no other gas that infiltrated.
