Bread & Butter

Just because it was running in my mind this morning.

The Newbeats Bread And Butter 1964 Stereo

I always thought a black man was singing it. Huh. Shows what I know.

Update January 2017 replaced video because the last one went 'private'.
Update March 2021 replaced missing video.
Update July 2022 replaced missing video.

Larry Henley (the guy with the crazed falsetto) eventually made his millions off co-writing "Wind Beneath My Wings."

The Newbeats managed to chart six songs in Billboard; I have four of them on the shelf.

Must be why I'm not rich. I have no idea what kind of stuff will sell. He made millions off of "Wind Beneath My Wings"? I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for it. Matter of fact, I would pay not to have listen to it. I hope I'm not being too harsh here.

I'm not overly fond of it either, though I did feel compelled to check its papers once it started selling in megaton lots.
